Nε-(Carboxymethyl)-L-lysine (CML) is an orally active advanced glycation end product. Nε-(Carboxymethyl)-L-lysine (25 μg/mL; 1-3 months) induces time-dependent centrosome amplification in THLE2 and THLE3 human hepatocytes, with 8-10-fold higher CA frequencies after 3 months of treatment[1].
Nε-(Carboxymethyl)-L-lysine (25 μg/mL; 1-3 months) upregulates PLK1 and CEP20 expression in THLE2 and THLE3 human hepatocytes, which are critical mediators of CML-driven centrosome amplification[1].
Nε-(Carboxymethyl)-L-lysine (25-50 μM; 6 days) significantly enhances the invasion ability of MG63 and U2OS human osteosarcoma cells[2].
