Farletuzumab (MORAb-003; 0-10 μg/mL; CHO-FR cells) inhibits FRα-dependent cell growth and increases folate EC50 in a dose-dependent manner[1].
Farletuzumab (0.1-100 μg/mL; IGROV-1 cells; 1 h) mediates tumor cytotoxicity via complement dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) in vitro[1].
Farletuzumab (0-10 μg/mL; CHO-FR cells) inhibits phosphorylation of proteins by Lyn kinase, a member of the src family of kinases, thereby, blocking a FRa-mediated signaling pathway[1].

Biological Activity
  • Immobilized FOLR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His, HY-P70296) can bind Farletuzumab. The EC50 for this effect is 3.29 ng/mL.
  • Flow cytometric analysis of 1X106 MCF-7 cells with Farletuzumab (HY-P99153, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG1(D356E/L358M) kappa (HY-P990100, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
