Anti-Mouse IL-6 Antibody (MP5-20F3) (200 μg, i.p., on day 7 and 14) significantly reduces malignant pleural effusion (MPE) volume and prolongs survival, enhance CD8+ T cell infiltration in male C57BL/6J mice bearing Lewis Lung Carcinoma (LLC) tumors[1].
Anti-Mouse IL-6 Antibody (MP5-20F3) (0.4 mg, i.p., once daily, from day 0 to day 5 or 6) reduces the level of hepcidin to normal levels in female Balb/c and C57BL/6 mice infected with parasites[2].

Animal Model: 5×105 LLC or LLC-LUC cells injected male C57BL/6J mice (6 weeks)[1]
Dosage: 200 μg, combined with anti-PD-L1 mAb (200 μg)

Result: Significantly reduced MPE volume of mice.
Effectively prolonged survival period.

Animal Model: Plasmodium yoelii XNL infected female Balb/c mice (6-8 weeks) and Plasmodium berghei NK65 infected female C57BL/6 mice (6-8 weeks)[2]
Dosage: 0.4 mg, combined with LDN193189 (3 mg/kg) (HY-12071)
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), once daily from day 0 to day 5 or 6
Result: Restored hepcidin to baseline level.
