In Vitro

SNX7886 (30 nM-1 μM; 24 h) potently degrades CDK8, CDK19, and their binding partner CCNC in human embryonic kidney 293 cells, with maximal degradation observed at concentrations as low as 30 nM after 24 h of treatment[1].
SNX7886 (200 nM; 72 h) induces kinase-dependent transcriptomic changes in human embryonic kidney 293 cells, altering expression of 1435 high-confidence DEGs after 72 h of 200 nM treatment, with effects largely overlapping those of the CDK8/19 kinase inhibitor BI1347[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Cell Line: human embryonic kidney 293 cells
Concentration: 30 nM, 100 nM, 300 nM, 1 μM
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Degraded CDK8 by up to 90% and CDK19 by up to 80%, with concurrent degradation of CCNC.
Maintained degradation of CDK8, CDK19, and CCNC at 100 nM, 300 nM, and 1 μM concentrations.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
