    HA; Hemagglutinin

    Virus Sf9 insect cells
Hemagglutinin (HA) is a class I viral fusion protein which is responsible for penetration of the virus into the cell cytoplasm by mediating the fusion of the membrane of the endocytosed virus particle with the endosomal membrane. HA binds to sialic acid-containing receptors on the cell surface to bring about the attachment of the virus particle to the cell. The attachment of HA induces virion internalization of about two third of the virus particles through clathrin-dependent endocytosis and about one third through a clathrin- and caveolin-independent pathway. HA plays a major role in the determination of host range restriction and virulence. Low pH in endosomes induces an irreversible conformational change in HA2, releasing the fusion hydrophobic peptide and forming fusion pore. Several HA trimers are required to form a competent fusion pore. HA/Hemagglutinin Protein, Influenza B (sf9, His) is the recombinant Virus-derived HA/Hemagglutinin protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag. The total length of HA/Hemagglutinin Protein, Influenza B (sf9, His) is 556 a.a., with molecular weight of ~60 kDa.

    HA; Hemagglutinin; HA/Hemagglutinin, Influenza B (B/Malaysia/2506/2004, 556a.a, HEK293, His)

    Virus HEK293
