Biological Activity: FtsZ-IN-13 (Compound C11) is an inhibitor of temperature-sensitive mutant Z (FtsZ), with IC50 values of 47.97, 34 μM against FtsZSa and FtsZPa, respectively. FtsZ-IN-13 has a notable antimicrobial activity against S. aureus (minimum inhibitory concentration value of 2 μg/mL), cystic fibrosis S. aureus clinical isolates, and methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) strains. FtsZ-IN-13 can be used for antimicrobial resistance study[1].
