MEM Non-essential Amino Acid Solution (100×) has been filtered and can be used directly. It adds nutrients and reduces the biosynthetic burden on cell in vitro. The 100 mL is defined as the base specification. All larger sizes correspond to incremental volumes of this base.

Description & Advantages
MEM Non-essential Amino Acid Solution (100×) has been filtered and can be used directly. It adds nutrients and reduces the biosynthetic burden on cell in vitro.
The solution contains seven Non-essential amino acids: Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Glutamic acid, L-Proline, L-Serine, L-Asparagine and L-Aspartic acid.
Protocol
Cell Culture Supplementation
1. Equilibrate MEM Non-essential Amino Acid Solution (100×) to an appropriate temperature and mix gently.
2. Under sterile conditions, add to basal medium at 1 : 100 (v/v) to obtain a final concentration of 1×.
3. Mix thoroughly and use directly for cell culture.
Note: The solution contains Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Glutamic acid, L-Proline, L-Serine, L-Asparagine, and L-Aspartic acid.
