The islet organoids generated with this optimized differentiation system exhibit high-level expression of key pancreatic endocrine markers, including NKX6.1, Insulin, and Somatostatin, and demonstrate functional glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS). These mature islet organoids provide a robust in vitro platform for diabetes research, drug discovery and screening, disease modeling, and cell therapy applications.
