Description & Advantages

MCE AntiFade Reagent (with DAPI) is used to slow the fluorescence quenching. The reagent can slow the fluorescence quenching of various common fluorescent dyes with simple operation and good anti-fluorescence quenching effect. This product contains DAPI for DAPI staining of cell nucleus.

Protocol

1. After fixation, permeabilization, and immunofluorescence staining of cells or tissues, complete the final wash with PBS or the appropriate wash buffer.

2. Carefully remove excess liquid around the specimen without allowing the sample to dry completely.

3. Apply an appropriate amount of AntiFade Mounting Medium (with DAPI) to fully cover the observation area.

4. Slowly place a coverslip over the sample, avoiding bubbles and allowing the mounting reagent to spread evenly.

5. Observe with a fluorescence or confocal microscope protected from light. DAPI counterstains nuclei during mounting.

Note: This product hardens to form a permanent rigid seal; after hardening, additional edge sealing such as nail polish is generally unnecessary, making it suitable for long-term storage and imaging. Protect the sample and reagent from light throughout the procedure.
