CD297/ART4
CD297 corresponds to ART4 (ADP-ribosyltransferase 4), a GPI-anchored glycoprotein that constitutes the Dombrock blood group system. Although ART4 belongs to the family of mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases that transfer ADP-ribose onto arginine residues, the protein carries substitutions in the catalytic motif and is considered catalytically inactive, functioning mainly as a cell surface marker of erythroid and lymphoid cells. Expression has been described on erythrocytes, B cells, NK cells, and thymocytes. Polymorphic variants define the Do(a) and Do(b) antigens along with related specificities such as Gy(a), Hy, and Jo(a). Antibodies to Dombrock antigens are infrequent but can cause hemolytic transfusion reactions.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
