L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine (100×) 

L-glutamine is an essential amino acid required for cell culture. It is widely involved in multiple key biosynthetic processes, including the formation of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides, amino sugars, glutathione, L-glutamate, and other amino acids. It also participates in protein synthesis and glucose production in cellular metabolism.

MCE L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine (100×) contains 200 mM L-alanyl-L-glutamine and is formulated in 0.85% NaCl. It serves as a stable dipeptide substitute for L-glutamine. Compared with free L-glutamine, it exhibits superior stability and significantly reduces the accumulation of toxic ammonia during culture, thereby improving cell viability and growth performance. The recommended working concentration is 2 mM, corresponding to a 1:100 dilution before use.

Before use, thaw the L-alanyl-L-glutamine solution (100×) at 4°C overnight. The product may be used in either of the following ways:

1. Directly add L-alanyl-L-glutamine solution (100×) to sterile cell culture medium at a 1:100 (v/v) ratio, mix thoroughly, and use.

2. Add the product at a 1:100 (v/v) ratio during preparation of cell culture medium, then filter sterilize after preparation before use.

Note: The working concentration may be optimized within the range of 1–4 mM depending on experimental requirements.
