PBS Powder (2 L of 1×) 

PBS buffer is widely used in immunoassay, microbiology and protein experiments. The PBS buffer prepared by this product can be directly used for cell culture and other related experiments after being sterilized by 0.22 μm filtration.

MCE PBS Powder (2 L of 1×) consists of NaCl, KCl and Phosphate. Each pouch can be diluted to 2 L 1× PBS buffer, in which the concentration of NaCl is 137 mM, the concentration of KCl is 2.7 mM and the concentration of Phosphate is 10 mM. This product provides a convenient way to make PBS buffer and eliminates the need to weigh and mix individual components.

Store at room temperature for 3 years.

1. Add 1 pouch of PBS Powder into the cleaned beaker, dissolve with 1200 mL distilled water under a magnetic stirrer.

2. Add distilled water to the solution in step 1 until the total volume is 2 L. The final solution is 1× PBS buffer.

Note:

a. All relevant raw materials are AR/GR grade.

b. The pH of the 1× PBS buffer is 7.4 ± 0.2 @ 25°C.
