MCE Pyrogen-Free Water is sterile-filtered ultrapure water with a bacterial endotoxin level of ≤0.005 EU/mL. It is free of nucleases, proteases, and other interfering substances. It is suitable for procedures sensitive to endotoxin contamination, including the dilution of working standards and test samples for bacterial endotoxin testing by the Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) method, and the preparation of cell culture media and buffers.
This product can be used to dilute working standards and samples for bacterial endotoxin testing and to prepare laboratory reagents such as cell culture media and buffers. It is also suitable for other endotoxin-sensitive applications in molecular and cell biology research.
Protocols
1. Before use, check the expiration date and appearance. The water should be colorless and clear, with no precipitate or turbidity.
2. After opening, handle the product under aseptic conditions. Avoid repeated opening of the container to prevent contamination.
3. Use the contents in a single session whenever possible. Use promptly after opening to minimize the risk of microbial contamination during storage.
