Parathyroid Disease

Parathyroid gland disease, also known as parathyroid disease, involves disorders of the parathyroid glands primarily associated with chief cell adenoma and familial isolated hypoparathyroidism. The PTH gene, encoding parathyroid hormone, plays a central role in this condition, with related biological pathways including signal transduction and steroid metabolism. The disease is linked to tissues such as the thyroid and kidney, and manifests through phenotypes involving homeostasis/metabolism and growth/size/body region. Acetaminophen and Tramadol have been noted in association with this disorder, although their precise role remains unclear.
