Description & Advantages
Phi29 DNA polymerase is a protein-engineered Phi29 DNA polymerase expressed in E. coli and then purified and isolated multiple times. Compared with wild-type Phi29 DNA polymerase, it has higher amplification efficiency and sensitivity, and can greatly shorten the reaction time. Phi29 DNA polymerase (mutant) has special strand displacement activity and efficient continuous synthesis characteristics. It has strong binding ability to templates and can continuously synthesize DNA fragments up to 70kb without dissociating from the template. At the same time, this enzyme has a strong 3′→5′ exonuclease proofreading function, and its fidelity is 100 times higher than Taq DNA polymerase. This product has been column purified multiple times. Only a clear single purpose band can be seen in SDS-PAGE gel detection. There is no E. coli DNA residue and no endonuclease or exonuclease contamination in qPCR detection.
