MCE Sodium Bicarbonate Solution (7.5%) is a sterile-filtered aqueous solution containing 75.0 g/L sodium bicarbonate and can be used directly as a supplement for cell culture media.
Protocol
The optimal bicarbonate concentration and buffering requirements vary among different cell types. Some cells may exhibit impaired growth or other adverse responses even at commonly used concentrations. It is recommended to determine the appropriate sodium bicarbonate concentration through preliminary experiments based on the specific cell type and culture conditions.
