NOTA-SP2A-FAPT can be adiolabeled and exhibits rapid renal excretion with fast kidney tissue clearance, accumulates rapidly in and retains high levels in FAP-positive tumor xenografts to enable clear tumor visualization. NOTA-SP2A-FAPT exhibits high binding affinity to human FAP (binding energy: -9.0 kcal/mol) and moderate binding to human serum albumin (binding energy: -7.7 kcal/mol)^[1].
NOTA-SP2A-FAPT competitively binds [¹⁸F]AlF-NOTA-FAPI-42 in A549-FAP cells with IC₅₀ of 8.58 μM^[1].
