Biological Activity
Spinosyn K (400 ppm) exhibits complete insecticidal activity against tobacco budworm, beet armyworm, corn planthopper, and two-spotted spider mite, partial activity against German cockroach, and no activity against cotton aphid or root-knot nematode[1].
Spinosyn K exhibits potent activity against tobacco budworm neonates via drench exposure with an LC50 of 1.0 ppm, reduced activity against second-instar larvae on treated cotton leaves with an LC50 >25 ppm, and moderate activity against eggs/neonates on treated diet with 84% mortality at 25 ppm[1].
