Biological Activity
The structure of PEG-Alkyne contains two key parts that work synergistically:
Alkyne group: Enables click chemistry reactions, achieving specific linkage with molecules containing an azide group.
PEG chain: As a hydrophilic spacer arm, it forms a hydration layer on the particle surface, which can reduce non-specific adsorption and recognition and clearance by the immune system, and prolong the circulation time of the carrier in vivo.
