DOTAM-NHS-ester is a bifunctional chelator and a macrocyclic DOTA derivative used for tumor pre-targeting. DOTAM-NHS-ester combines the efficient metal chelating ability of DOTAM macrocyclic ligands with the bioconjugation function of NHS ester active groups, and can be widely used in the biomedical field for metal labeling, molecular imaging and drug delivery development.

RDC Bifunctional Chelator

In Vitro

DOTAM-NHS ester (composed of DOTAM and NHS ester) is a chelator that forms stable complexes with various metal ions and reacts with amino groups to form stable amide bonds; it is used as a biomolecule labeling reagent to introduce DOTAM into biomolecules for localization and tracking, applied to prepare metal ion-labeled probes for bioimaging, and serves as a contrast agent to improve imaging contrast and resolution by binding to specific biomolecules[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
