MCE Streptavidin Magnetic Beads provide a fast and convenient method for numerous applications, including purification of proteins and nucleic acids, protein interaction studies, immunoprecipitation, immunoassays, pull-down and cell isolation. The 1 mL is defined as the base specification. All larger sizes correspond to incremental volumes of this base.

Avidin, chicken egg white is a protein found in chicken egg white and a reagent for blocking endogenous biotinylated proteins in RNA pull-down assays .
Cat. No.: HY-101974
CAS No.: 1041766-91-9
Biotin-PEG3-Bromide is a short PEG linker featuring a biotin group and a bromide. The bromide is a halogen which is easily displaced by nucleophiles such as alcohols or amines. Alternatively, bromide can be applied in a number of cross-coupling reactions such as in a Suzuki reaction. Biotin is useful for affinity-based applications such as pull-down assays or for ligating with streptavidin proteins.

Biotin-16-dCTP is a biotinylated deoxycytidine triphosphate that serves as an important DNA labeling substrate. Biotin-16-dCTP can be enzymatically incorporated into the 3' end of DNA probes via terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase, forming a 1-3 nucleotide-long tail to achieve biotinylation of the probes. Biotin-16-dCTP enhances chemiluminescent detection of low-abundance targets such as specific tRNA isoacceptors through Northern blotting. Biotin-16-dCTP can also replace conventional dCTP to be integrated into single-stranded DNA generated by asymmetric polymerase chain reaction, which is applicable for bioconjugation or pull-down assays. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of Biotin-16-dCTP should be avoided to prevent degradation of its function for probe biotinylation .

Biotin-NAD + is a PARylation donor and also a substrate of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1). Under the mediation of PARP1, Biotin-NAD + undergoes poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation to generate biotinylated poly (ADP-ribose) polymers. Biotin-NAD + can be used for pull-down assays of PARylated proteins in renal epithelial cells. Biotin-NAD + is applicable to cancer-related research .

DKFZ-633 is a potent KLK6 inhibitor and KLK6-specific probe with an IC50 of 250 nM against human KLK6. DKFZ-633 covalently labels active KLK6 in a specific manner, and successfully pulls down and captures endogenous active KLK6 from cell-conditioned media. DKFZ-633 serves as a critical tool for investigating the function of KLK6 and its regulatory mechanisms in head and neck cancer .

CS-1-174 is a biotin-modified probe derived from KCC-07 (HY-131031), with specific binding activity to enrich MBD2. CS-1-174 captures MBD2 in cell lysates via pull-down by binding streptavidin magnetic beads through its terminal biotin tag. CS-1-174 serves as a functional tool probe in the development of TRACER technology, and is used to verify the target binding ability of MBD2 in tumor cells .
