Biological Activity: Biotin-NAD+ is a PARylation donor and also a substrate of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1). Under the mediation of PARP1, Biotin-NAD+ undergoes poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation to generate biotinylated poly (ADP-ribose) polymers. Biotin-NAD+ can be used for pull-down assays of PARylated proteins in renal epithelial cells. Biotin-NAD+ is applicable to cancer-related research[1].
