Biotin-NAD+ is a PARylation donor and also a substrate of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1). Under the mediation of PARP1, Biotin-NAD+ undergoes poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation to generate biotinylated poly (ADP-ribose) polymers. Biotin-NAD+ can be used for pull-down assays of PARylated proteins in renal epithelial cells. Biotin-NAD+ is applicable to cancer-related research.

Description

Biotin-NAD+ is a PARylation donor and also a substrate of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1). Under the mediation of PARP1, Biotin-NAD+ undergoes poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation to generate biotinylated poly (ADP-ribose) polymers. Biotin-NAD+ can be used for pull-down assays of PARylated proteins in renal epithelial cells. Biotin-NAD+ is applicable to cancer-related research[1].

In Vitro

Biotin-NAD+ (20 nM; 30 min) acts as the optimal substrate for PARP1-mediated PARylation in this electrochemical detection system, enabling maximum signal generation via avidin-biotin capture of biotinylated PAR polymers and NA-AgNPs[1].
Biotin-NAD+ (20 nM; 30 min) serves as the optimal substrate for PARP1-mediated PARylation in this SPR detection system, enabling maximum capture of biotinylated PAR polymers on the NA-modified gold chip[1].
Biotin-NAD+ (6 μg; 24-48 h) serves as an effective PARylation donor to pulldown and detect PARylated proteins, including PARP-1, in mpkCCDc14 cells, revealing a dDAVP time-dependent induction of these modified targets[2].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
