Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs)

Definition:

Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) are serine/threonine kinases whose activity depends on a regulatory subunit a cyclin. CDKs takes part in the control of cell division and modulate transcription in response to several extra- and intracellular cues.
