Tebipenem pivoxil inhibits the growth of Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, multidrug-resistant bacteria, and pathogens producing extended-spectrum β-lactamases. Tebipenem pivoxil eliminates intestinal infection pathogens and reduces mortality in septic mice.
