Hypoxia response elements (HREs)

Definition:

Hypoxia response elements (HREs)is composed of 5'-TACGTG-3' sites and some variable side sequences due to the activation of HIF-1α. In the process of hypoxic transcription activation, cis-regulation is performed, which is related to angiogenesis.
