Biological Activity: Hydroxymycotrienin A is an ansamycin group antibiotic with anticancer effects. Hydroxymycotrienin A suppresses integrated HPV18 E6 and E7 gene expression. Hydroxymycotrienin A inhibits growth of HPV-positive cervical cancer cells, stabilizes conformational mutant p53R175H and contact mutant p53R273H via non-covalent interactions, and acts as a non-covalent pharmacological chaperone. Hydroxymycotrienin A can be used for the research of human cervical cancer and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)[1][2].
