Biological Activity: Luteolin 7-O-[β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)]-β-D-glucopyranoside (compound 3) is a flavonoid with antioxidant activity, which can be isolated from Margaritopsis carrascoana. Luteolin 7-O-[β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)]-β-D-glucopyranoside has good DPPH free radical scavenging activity (IC50=0.188 mg/mL)[1].
