    Hydralazine is an orally active, blood-brain barrier-permeable DNA methyltransferase inhibitor with vasodilatory, arterial smooth muscle relaxant and hypotensive activities. In addition, Hydralazine directly induces DNA strand breaks and sister chromatid exchange, exhibiting certain mutagenic characteristics.
