Flonicamid reduces renal excretory function in female Culex pipiens pallens. Flonicamid rapidly disrupts insect feeding behavior without neurotoxic poisoning symptoms, induces irreversible starvation, and increases the mortality of nymph progeny of adult aphids exposed to this agent .
