Biological Activity: Amphotericin A is a tetraenic polyene antifungal agent, produced in the fermentation broth of Amphotericin B (HY-B0221). Amphotericin A has a structure identical to Amphotericin B except for a single bond between carbons 28 and 29 instead of a double bond. Amphotericin A can be used for research on fungal infection[1][2].
