Pralidoxime methanesulfonate
- CAS. Nr.: 154-97-2
- Formula:C8H12N2O4S
- Molecular Weight:232.26
SMILES: O=S([O-])(C)=O.O/N=C/C1=[N+](C)C=CC=C1
Biological Activity: Pralidoxime methanesulfonate is a potent reactivator of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Pralidoxime methanesulfonate reactivates nerve agent-inhibited AChE via direct nucleophilic attack by the oxime moiety on the phosphorus center of the bound nerve agent. Pralidoxime methanesulfonate is an antidote for organophosphate poisoning[1][2].
