Factor VIIa
Factor VIIa is the active form of factor VII and plays an important role in the process of blood coagulation. Factor VIIa can combine with tissue factor to form a complex, activating factor IX and factor X, thereby promoting blood coagulation. In addition, when there is vascular injury, factor VIIa can quickly initiate the blood coagulation process, forming a fibrin clot at the site of injury to achieve physiological hemostasis. Factor VIIa is closely related to diseases. Its deficiency can lead to excessive bleeding, and an excessively high level of it can increase the risk of thrombotic diseases. Factor VIIa, due to its well-known ability to promote coagulation, is also used as a hemostatic agent in the treatment of several hyper bleeding disorders like hemophilia, thrombocytopenia etc[1][2].
