The core of L-Histidine buffer, Sterile, is L-histidine, an essential basic amino acid for the human body. As a buffer, L-histidine has unique advantages: 1. Excellent buffering capacity: Its imidazole group on the side chain has a pKa value of approximately 6.0, giving it extremely strong buffering capacity within the physiologically relevant pH range of 5.5-6.5. 2. Multiple stabilizing functions: In addition to maintaining pH stability, histidine can also act as a stabilizer, antioxidant, and lyophilization protectant for proteins (especially monoclonal antibodies).
