Z223-2027 acts as an FcRn antagonist, exerting its function by competitively blocking the binding of IgG to immobilized human FcRn[1].
Z223-2027 stably binds to human FcRn (PDB: 5WHK) with a binding free energy of −27.8 kcal/mol, and interacts with the key residues D130 and W127, which supports its mechanism as an FcRn antagonist by blocking IgG binding[1].
