Pranidipine inhibits calcium-induced contraction, suppresses slow-response action potentials, shortens action potential duration, reduces systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and exerts vasodilatory effects. Pranidipine enhances its vasodilatory effect by blocking NO decomposition.
