Prothioconazole is an orally active broad-spectrum fungicide. Prothioconazole weakly inhibits CaCYP51 activity in Candida albicans, with an apparent IC50 of approximately 120 μM. Prothioconazole disrupts Microtubule stability by reducing the acetylation level of α-tubulin. Prothioconazole induces Mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, DNA damage, and Apoptosis. Prothioconazole accumulates 14-methylated sterols and depletes ergosterol in cells, culture media, plants, and animals. Prothioconazole interferes with pyruvate metabolism and glycolysis/gluconeogenesis processes in mouse liver, downregulates Fasn mRNA expression, and induces hepatotoxicity and renal metabolic disorders. Prothioconazole reduces the fertility of female mice. Prothioconazole inhibits body weight gain and increases liver/kidney indices in mice. Prothioconazole can be used in studies related to candidiasis .

Cat. No.: HY-178672
CAS No.: 400806-46-4
Synonyms: Anti-Reverse cap analog; m2 7,3′O GpppG
Target:

DNA/RNA Synthesis

Research Areas:

Infection Cancer

ARCA (Anti-Reverse cap analog; m2 7,3'OGpppG) is a 5′-cap analog. ARCA carries a methyl group at the 3'-OH position of m7G, which ensures that the cap is ligated to the 5' end of mRNA in the correct orientation during in vitro transcription and prevents reverse ligation. ARCA enhances the translation efficiency and stability of mRNA. In human immature dendritic cells, both the translation efficiency and total protein expression of ARCA-capped mRNA are higher than those of conventional m7GpppG-capped mRNA. ARCA can be used in research related to cancer, infectious diseases and mRNA vaccines .

ARCA (triammonium) solution (100 mM) (Anti-Reverse cap analog triammonium solution (100 mM); m2 7,3'OGppp triammonium solution (100 mM)) is a 5′-cap analog. ARCA (triammonium) solution (100 mM) carries a methyl group at the 3'-OH position of m7G, which ensures that the cap is ligated to the 5' end of mRNA in the correct orientation during in vitro transcription and prevents reverse ligation. ARCA (triammonium) solution (100 mM) enhances the translation efficiency and stability of mRNA.
