DOPE-PEG2000-YIGSR
DOPE-PEG2000-YIGSR (DOPE-PEG2000-Mal-Cys-YIGSR) is an amphiphilic lipid-PEG-peptide conjugate consisting of DOPE (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG2000, and the YIGSR peptide (Tyr-Ile-Gly-Ser-Arg), a sequence derived from the beta-1 chain of laminin. YIGSR peptide binds to the 67 kDa laminin receptor that is overexpressed on various tumor cells. DOPE-PEG2000-YIGSR is used for tumor-targeted drug delivery and anti-metastatic research.

Biological Activity
DOPE-PEG2000-YIGSR: surface modification of liposomes and nanoparticles for laminin receptor-targeted drug delivery to tumor cells, and for anti-metastatic therapy by blocking tumor cell adhesion and invasion.
Structural composition:
(1) DOPE; a fusogenic phospholipid with two unsaturated oleoyl chains that anchors into lipid membranes and promotes pH-responsive membrane fusion for endosomal escape;
(2) PEG2000; a hydrophilic polymer that creates a stealth layer reducing immune clearance and prolonging circulation half-life;
(3) YIGSR peptide; a pentapeptide derived from laminin beta-1 chain that specifically binds to the 67 kDa laminin receptor overexpressed on tumor cells, enabling active targeting while also competitively inhibiting tumor cell adhesion to basement membranes, thereby suppressing metastasis.
