Factor B-IN-5 (20 and 60 mg/kg; i.g.; twice daily; for 10 weeks) improves interstitial inflammation of renal tubules and reduces kidney damage in male diabetic db/db C57BL/6J mice^[1].

Male diabetic db/db C57BL/6J mice (C57BL/6J-LepR^db/db) (6 weeks)^[1]
Dosage:

20 and 60 mg/kg
Administration:

Oral gavage (i.g.); twice daily for 10 weeks
Result:

Significantly reduced the level of uACR.
Significantly improved renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis and atrophy.
Significantly reduced the thickness of glomerular basement membrane (GBM).
Reduced the expression of inflammatory markers Kim-1 and IL-1β.
Improved mitochondrial morphology and dynamics and upregulated the expression of Mfn2 and Prkn.
Might exert its effect by regulating CASP3 and DPP4.
