G-quadruplex ligand 5 (Compound 2o) (10 μM) selectively stabilizes cancer-associated G4 oligonucleotides by up to 5°C, with no stabilization of duplex DNA^[1].
G-quadruplex ligand 5 (10 μM) binds the c-Myc G4 sequence with a K_a of 1.7 ± 0.1 μM^-1^[1].
G-quadruplex ligand 5 binds to groove and loop regions of antiparallel telo22, parallel c-Myc, and hybrid telo23 G4s, inducing widespread spectral perturbations^[1].
G-quadruplex ligand 5 (1-100 μM; 72 h) exhibits selective cytotoxicity toward HeLa cancer cells with an IC₅₀ of 7.8 ± 0.4 μM after incubation in the dark, with no appreciable toxicity in healthy HDF cells^[1].
