Umbellatolide A is an 11-noriridoid found in the aerial parts of Morinda umbellata. Umbellatolide A shows no significant cytotoxic activity against human cancer cells^[1].

In Vitro

Umbellatolide A (>20 μg/mL) does not exhibit significant cytotoxic activity against human KB, LU-1, and MCF-7 cancer cells, with an IC₅₀ >20 μg/mL^[1].
Umbellatolide A (>20 μg/mL) does not exhibit a significant protective effect against H₂O₂-stimulated oxidative stress injury in murine hepatocytes, with an ED₅₀ >20 μg/mL^[1].
