11β-HSD1-IN-27 is a human and mouse 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type I inhibitor. 11β-HSD1-IN-27 inhibits catalytic activity of target enzymes in cell-based assays. 11β-HSD1-IN-27 exhibits moderate stability in mouse and human liver microsomes.

11β-HSD1-IN-27 (compound 19) potently inhibits human 11β-HSD1 in stable CHO cells expressing the enzyme, with an IC50 of 0.016 μM[1].
11β-HSD1-IN-27 potently inhibits mouse 11β-HSD1 in stable CHO cells expressing the enzyme, with an IC50 of 0.010 μM[1].
11β-HSD1-IN-27 (11-point dilutions; 30 min compound incubation, 120 min total) inhibits mouse 11β-HSD1 in stable CHO cells expressing the enzyme in the presence of 10% human serum, with an IC50 of 0.398 μM[1].
11β-HSD1-IN-27 (1 μM; up to 30 min) has a metabolic half-life of 13 min in mouse liver microsomes[1].
11β-HSD1-IN-27 (1 μM; up to 30 min) has a metabolic half-life of 14 min in human liver microsomes[1].
