2,3-Dihydro-7-azaindole
Based on 1 Customer Validation
2,3-Dihydro-7-azaindole (7-Azaindoline) is a cyclic secondary amine substrate with a fused aromatic ring, which serves as a substrate for hydrogenation reactions. 2,3-Dihydro-7-azaindole undergoes amidation with methyl pyrazine-2-carboxylate under the catalysis of lipase from Pseudomonas stutzeri. 2,3-Dihydro-7-azaindole is often used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, for example, in the preparation of indole compounds.

Biological Activity
2,3‑Dihydro‑7‑azaindole undergoes selective hydrogenation on its heteroaromatic ring to afford a partially saturated heterocycle; furthermore, a saturated N‑heterocyclic product can be obtained in the partial hydrogenation reaction catalyzed by the RuO2@PNC nanocatalyst.[1].
2,3-Dihydro-7-azaindole undergoes amidation with methyl pyrazine-2-carboxylate under the catalysis of Pseudomonas stutzeri lipase[2].
