TRIM21 ligand-1
TRIM21 ligand-1 is a TRIM21 ligand. TRIM21 ligand-1 mediates the degradation of nuclear pore complex proteins GLE1 and NUP155. TRIM21 ligand-1 induces the disassembly of nuclear pore complexes, which in turn leads to cell death. TRIM21 ligand-1 can be used in cancer research.

Biologische Aktivität
TRIM21 ligand-1 (the last structural formula on page 7) is a ligand of TRIM21, an E3 ligase belonging to the tripartite motif family[1].
TRIM21 contains an N-terminal RING domain, a central Coiled-coiled domain, and a C-terminal PRYSPRY domain, where the RING domain is responsible for catalyzing ubiquitin transfer, and the PRY-SPRY domain functions in substrate recognition[1].
