Pinoquercetin is a ¹³C-methylated flavonol and antioxidant. Pinoquercetin scavenges DPPH free radicals. Pinoquercetin can be used for research of oxidative damage^[1].

In Vitro

Pinoquercetin (Compound 6) (30 min) displays strong antioxidant activities in an in vitro DPPH radical scavenging activity assay^[1].
Pinoquercetin (10 μM; 2 h) provides 43.0% cytoprotection against H₂O₂-induced oxidative cell death in PC12 cells when control cell survival is 40%^[1].
