Am-KYa12K4 is a peptide-ionizable lipid (PIL) that can be incorporated into lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to deliver mRNA to the thymus with high specificity. LNPs formulated with Am-KYa12K4 significantly enhance mRNA expression in the thymus.

Activité biologique
Am-KYa12K4 LNPs combined with 126ts-Luc mRNA (1.0 mg/kg; i.v.; single dose) achieve enhanced thymus-selective mRNA delivery with 82.4% organ specificity in healthy female C57BL/6 mice[1].
