Antituberculosis agent-16 shows low cytotoxicity to Vero cells with an IC₅₀ of 37.14 μg/mL^[1].
Antituberculosis agent-16 has high cell membrane permeability with an apparent permeability coefficient (Papp) of 46.1×10^-6 cm/s in Caco-2 assay^[1].
Antituberculosis agent-16 (1-10 μg/mL, 72 h) dose-dependently reduces the intracellular Mycobacterium tuberculosis load in mouse J774A.1 macrophages^[1].
