mPEG550-Mannose
mPEG550-Mannose is a polymeric derivative formed by the chemical coupling of methoxy polyethylene glycol (mPEG) and mannose. mPEG550-Mannose combines the biocompatibility of polyethylene glycol with the specificity of mannose in biorecognition, and is widely used in fields such as biomaterial modification and targeted delivery systems.

Biological Activity
The structure of mPEG-Mannose comprises two key parts that work synergistically:
Mannose: As a targeting navigator, it specifically recognizes and binds to mannose receptors on the cell surface.
PEG chain: As a hydrophilic spacer, it forms a hydration layer on the particle surface, reducing non-specific adsorption and immune system clearance, thus prolonging the carrier's circulation time in vivo.
