Ampiroxicam is an orally active prodrug of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Ampiroxicam inhibits paw swelling in adjuvant-induced arthritis and acute inflammation models, and suppresses phenylbenzoquinone-induced stretching responses in mice. Ampiroxicam is rapidly and completely converted to Piroxicam (HY-B0253) via non-specific esterases and first-pass metabolism. Ampiroxicam induces contact hypersensitivity and photosensitivity reactions through photoproducts generated by UVA. Ampiroxicam can be used in research related to photosensitivity, adjuvant-induced arthritis, rheumatism, osteoarthritis and other inflammatory diseases .

Tachysterol 3 is a photoproduct of Previtamin D3 (HY-130705). Previtamin D3 is an orally active, thermolabile steroidal compound that generates vitamin D3, as well as biologically inactive lumisterol and tachysterol. Previtamin D3 is synthesized in the skin of humans and rats via the UV-B-mediated photoconversion of 7-dehydrocholesterol. Previtamin D3 lacks direct anti-rachitic activity, and its in vivo activity relies on the vitamin D3 it produces. Previtamin D3 can be used in studies related to rickets and vitamin D metabolism .

Cy 3 Non-Sulfonated (Cyanine3) triethylamine is a cyanine (Cy) dye, and a fluorescent label with green channel for protein and nucleic acid. Cy 3 Non-Sulfonated triethylamine is a fluorescent photoproduct of Cyanine5 via photoconversion upon photoexcitation. Cy 3 Non-Sulfonated triethylamine can be used to high-density single-particle tracking in a living cell without using UV illumination and cell-toxic additives (Ex=470 nm; Em=515 nm and 565 nm nm) .

[Ru(dpp)(bpy)(mtmp)](PF6)2 (Compound 5) is a trisheteroleptic ruthenium complex. [Ru(dpp)(bpy)(mtmp)](PF6)2 has a light-activated anticancer activity. [Ru(dpp)(bpy)(mtmp)](PF6)2 can selectively cleave off upon green light irradiation, thereby releasing a phototoxic ruthenium-based photoproduct that binds to nuclear DNA, induces DNA damage and apoptosis in cancer cells. [Ru(dpp)(bpy)(mtmp)](PF6)2 can be used for phototherapy of cancers like conjunctival melanoma research .
