Gluconasturtiin (4-20 mg per 10 mL of 0.1 M glucose; added to the feed) stimulates feeding in P. maculipennis larvae at low concentrations, but exhibits significant toxicity against fifth-instar larvae at 20 mg/10 mL (> 50% mortality)^[1].
